Cabaret for International Women's Day - "Hilde from Bornheim" in Rodgau

The women of Rodgau will be celebrating International Women's Day with a cabaret treat on Sunday, 8 March 2026, in the auditorium of the Georg Büchner School, Nordring 32. The Equal Rights Office of the City of Rodgau cordially invites all women (and expressly men too) to join in the celebrations. The event starts at 10 am with a varied finger food buffet. From 11 a.m., "Hilde from Bornheim" will take to the stage and get the laugh muscles moving with her adorably funny look at everyday life. Rumour has it that Hilde will soon be "Germany's Next Top Kittel" and she has indeed been a firm star of the Hessian cabaret scene for 20 years. With bologna in her smock, sharp humour and disarming repartee, she talks about life's big and small questions, from depressive canaries to unexpected moonwalk interludes. Many people ask themselves: What is actually behind, or rather underneath this smock? The answer is: Stefani Kunkel, who has created one of her most successful Hessian stage characters in Hilde. She has been slipping into the iconic smock for two decades now and presents Hilde's disarmingly funny view of the world. With plenty of humour, irony and heart, "Hilde from Bornheim" promises an unforgettable morning that is all about International Women's Day: celebrating, laughing and making a statement together. Admission costs 15 euros in advance and 18 euros at the box office, including a finger food buffet. Advance ticket sales start on 17 November at the Bürgerservice, Rathaus, Hintergasse 15, during the usual opening hours. Tip: The ticket is also ideal as a Christmas present. Free choice of seats. We ask for your understanding that it is not possible to reserve tickets or seats. Contact and information: Clarissa Leopoldsberger, City of Rodgau, telephone 06106 693-1451.
