The Rodgau day care centre is taking part in the "Nationwide Action Week for Child Day Care" and is using this to present itself and the work of the day carers. As part of the campaign week, interested people will be offered an open day on Thursday, 15 May from 4 to 5.30 pm in the substitute flat, Schillerstraße 27b, on the 1st floor. There will be an opportunity to view the flat and find out about substitute models. These apply whenever the childminder is unable to work and the children have to be looked after by a substitute. It is not necessary to register for this event. On Friday, 16 May, from 3.30 pm to 6 pm, there will be a "child day care walk". Together we will walk through "real" day care centres and get to know the day care staff, rooms and concepts. This offer is aimed exclusively at new families interested in child day care who do not yet have a childcare place. Registration is required by 12 May by calling 693-1167 or sending an email to tageseltern@rodgau.de. When registering, participants also decide which tour they would like to join: Route 1 starts at the "Wismarer Straße" playground and takes in two daycare centres in Nieder-Roden. Route 2 starts at the "Helix-Park" playground. Here, participants will visit two daycare centres in Hainhausen. On both routes, the substitute home in Hainhausen will also be presented.
