Jessica Grimm, Nicole Höfer-Berkenkamp and Anna-Luisa Landau-Yildirim, the management team of the Rodgau childminder's office, welcomed the Rodgau childminders to the traditional end-of-year event. Together with almost all of the 31 childminders currently affiliated to the childminder's office, they brought the past childcare year to a close. After a small snack, there was information and the opportunity to chat. Sahra Hense, an employee at the family centre, also gave an insight into her field of work "Kita Einstieg" and explained what support she has to offer for families with special circumstances. A big thank you went to Conny Castillo Palma on this evening. She is leaving the daycare centre after 18 years in which she supported and accompanied countless Rodgau children and families. She will now continue her work at her new place of residence. The childminder's office looked back on joint training sessions, play meetings, educational meetings, a sociable company outing, home visits to the childminders and much more with the childminders. At the end of the year, it expressed its gratitude for the great commitment and expertise shown in caring for over 100 children. Thanks also went to the four childcare substitutes. Two of them are employed by the city and two are self-employed. Thanks to the deployment of the substitutes, it has been possible to cover almost all vacancies of the actual day carer due to illness. Next year, this service will have been running for 5 years and can therefore celebrate a small anniversary. In addition to this "small" anniversary, the City of Rodgau's childminder office will also be celebrating a "big" anniversary next year. 35 years of the Rodgau childminder's office are to be honoured next year. There will therefore be an anniversary celebration in May during the nationwide "Child Day Care Action Week". More information will follow.
