The motto of this year's Urban Development Day is "Together in the middle". It will take place together with the celebrations to mark "50 years of town twinning between Rodgau and Nieuwpoort" and "100 years of AGV Volkschor Dudenhofen e.V." on 10 May. All interested parties are cordially invited to take part in various activities of the "Growth and Sustainable Renewal" urban development programme on the forecourt of the Dudenhofen community centre from 10 am. The urban redevelopment team will provide information on current, completed and planned projects. Things get really official again at 4 pm. First City Councillor Janika Martin will open the redesigned Ludwig-Erhard-Platz square and cut the symbolic ribbon. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to find out more about the design and construction of the square in a guided tour by the urban planning office ammon+sturm. To coincide with the anniversary celebrations of the town twinning with Nieuwpoort, there will also be a participation event on the planned redesign of Nieuwpoorter Strasse. The aim is to involve citizens in the urban development process and take their needs and ideas into account. Between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., there will be an opportunity to interactively contribute your own opinion at various stations in the foyer of the community centre, e.g. using interactive cards. For all those who are unable to attend on this day, there will be a digital participation opportunity afterwards at https://rodgau.govocal.com/de-DE/.
